I wasn't aware of this charming little book until I received a review copy from the publisher. Reading through the information and suggestions for my astrological sign and for the signs of my loved ones proved to be quite insightful and entertaining.

In many cases, our personality characteristics can be directly correlated to our physical health. For instance, those that are constant worriers are more prone to heart and digestive issues. Taking it a step further, I can see how the common characteristics shared by those with the same astrological sign can potentially lead to similar emotional and physical health challenges.

Organized by sign of the zodiac, each section of this 232-page book describes the characteristics associated with the zodiac sign and then proceeds to describe the associated physical health risks common to those that share that particular astrological sign:

• Characteristics of the Sign
• Symbol Description
• Planetary Ruler
• Element
• Quality
• Personal Health Profile
• Areas of Health Focus
• Healthy Eating Tips
• Health-Supporting Foods
• Spa and Wellness Therapies
• Relaxation Practices
• Yoga Poses
• Aromatherapy
• Natural Remedies
• Flower Essences

Though I don't believe that all individuals consistently possesses the characteristics of their astrological sign, Planetary Apothecary offers a lively, informative and entertaining glimpse into holistic health ideas that you can consider in connection with your zodiac sign.
