Maggie Tisserand began investigating the effectiveness of using essential oils to combat multi-drug-resistant infections after using them to overcome serious chest infections picked up during her travels. This lead to her working with the MRSA support group and running a decolonising programme. Maggie was inspired by the results and continued her research in collaboration with university microbiologists. Maggie lives in Dorset, South West England, and has three children and three grandchildren.
