Kukui Nut Oil penetrates the skin well and is said to be excellent in treating many skin conditions including psoriasis, eczema, aging skin, and acne. It's essential fatty acid content makes it especially nourishing to the skin, but the oil can go rancid rather quickly.

Carrier Oils for Aromatherapy & Massage by Len Price mentions that Kukui Nut Oil contains approximately 9% saturated fat, 20% oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid), 42% linoleic acid (an omega-6 essential fatty acid), and 29% alpha linolenic acid (an omega-3 essential fatty acid).
