Home Page > Advertising Info > Business Listing Advertising Policies Business Listing Advertising Policies By purchasing a Global or Regional Business Listing, the purchaser agrees to the following policies: If your business listing is not accepted, you will not be charged or billed for a business listing. Business Listings are not published until full payment is received. If paying by Credit Card, AromaWeb, LLC will not charge your credit card until the day that your listing is published online. Once payment is received and your listing appears online, a signed, print receipt will be e-mailed to the individual listed as your billing contact. Except in rare situations handled on a case-by-case basis, Business Listing fees are non-refundable. A $25.00 fee is charged for checks and other payments that are returned due to insufficient or unavailable funds. AromaWeb, LLC reserves the right to refuse advertising from any company for any reason. Such reasons include but are not limited to companies that AromaWeb has concern are unethical, unprofessional, inaccurate, unknowledgeable about aromatherapy, or are a part of an MLM/network marketing arrangement (as such arrangements can make it too easy for the participants to not be knowledgeable about aromatherapy). You agree that the products and/or services that you are selling are legal in all areas that you sell them in and that your business practices are truthful and do not mislead customers. You agree that your business listing description is truthful and not misleading. You agree that you do not and will not use the terms "aromatherapy grade" or "therapeutic grade" on your Web site, print materials or within your advertising. For Global Business Listing Packages, AromaWeb, LLC reserves the right to modify the product categories that your listing appears in should your Web site not offer the corresponding category items as being available for sale/service, or if AromaWeb determines that the category of items are too difficult to find on your site. (If you do not have a Web site, your print materials must offer the category of products/service for sale.) You agree that the categories that you selected for the appearance of your listing are relevant and appropriate for your business/service. You understand that AromaWeb can discontinue your listing if it appears that you are "spamming" the business plaza with your listing by selecting categories that your business does not pertain to. Business Listing descriptions cannot exceed 250 characters including spaces. AromaWeb, LLC reserves the right to shorten descriptions that exceed this length to meet the 250 character (including spaces) specification. Once your business listing term begins or once your renewal term begins, carefully proofread your banner advertising and business listing information as it appears on AromaWeb. It is essential that you bring any errors or discrepancies to the attention of AromaWeb, LLC within three (3) days of the start date or renewal date for your advertising term so that they can be corrected. AromaWeb, LLC is not responsible for any errors or ommissions. AromaWeb, LLC accepts no liability for any losses or inconveniences incurred. The name that you enter within the Company Name portion of your order form must be the true name of your company (or your own name, if applicable for your service practice). It must not contain any added taglines, slogans or other descriptive text that is not a part of your true company name. AromaWeb reserves the right to modify the company name portion of your business listing to be consistent with your business name. AromaWeb, LLC reserves the right to discontinue your listing and refund the pro-rated cost of the remaining period of the purchased term for any reason including if AromaWeb receives complaints from visitors about your business and/or AromaWeb becomes concerned about the ethics, professionalism or aromatherapy knowledge of your business. AromaWeb has the exclusive right to define for itself what it believes is "concerning." You agree that AromaWeb's acceptance of your advertising does not constitute AromaWeb's recommendation or endorsement of your business. You will not make statements that imply that AromaWeb "endorses" or "recommends" your business. In the event that the information supplied in your business listing has changed and AromaWeb visitors cannot contact you, AromaWeb has the right to remove your listing until you are able to supply revisions at our low revision rate. The original term ending date will remain in effect. The rates AromaWeb, LLC charges for business listings is subject to change at any time. Once your purchase a term for your listing or ad, the rate is locked in for the entire term of your promotion. In the event that AromaWeb, LLC must be discontinued due to health, death or other unforeseeable event, the pro-rated fee for the remainder of your advertising term will be refunded. AromaWeb, LLC reserves the right to have other banner advertisements or business listings on the same page as your listing (i.e. AromaWeb, LLC may sell banner advertising space on the Business Plaza pages and will have multiple listings per page.) AromaWeb, LLC reserves the right to revise all pages on the site including the page that your business listing is on. As the sales of business listings grows, AromaWeb, LLC reserves the right to expand the business listings area as needed and to add pages or restructure the area. The intended goals of any such changes are for the benefit of both advertisers and visitors. AromaWeb, LLC bases its pricing on the estimated amount of traffic that it expects to receive. AromaWeb cannot guarantee the accuracy of this estimate or the number of visitors that will view your listing. As there are many additional factors that affect your sales results (i.e. what you supply in your description, etc.), AromaWeb, LLC cannot guarantee the success of your promotion, amount of traffic going to your Web site based on your promotion, the number of inquiries that you receive based on your promotion or the amount of sales generated based on your promotion. By procuring advertising on AromaWeb, you agree to receive occasional e-mail newsletters devoted to providing information of importance to AromaWeb's valued advertisers. You are welcome to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (easy unsubscription information is provided within each newsletter). AromaWeb is hosted by an outside hosting company. Although AromaWeb has a magnificent record of uptime, there may be periods where AromaWeb may not be available due to server maintenance, server upgrades, network problems with the Internet in general, etc. It is unfortunate but normal that Web sites do go down from time to time or are inaccessible for a variety of reasons. AromaWeb has included these occurrences in the pricing model for business listings. As such, AromaWeb, LLC cannot offer refunds or discounts due to such downtimes. In the unlikely event that AromaWeb is down for a longer-than-reasonable period of time, AromaWeb will extend your advertising term accordingly. This will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Even if your payment is received without being accompanied by the business listing order confirmation form, or your signature on the business listing order confirmation form is missing, your payment indicates your full agreement to all the policies above and any stated within e-mail messages. Receipt of your payment also indicates your full agreement to the term(s) and other details set forth on the business listing order confirmation form.
