Vitex Hydrosol

Vitex Hydrosol is pleasant, crisp and rather sweet. At times, I find that it seems to have a slightly mint note to it.

Botanical Name: Vitex agnus-castus

Aromatic Strength: Medium

Shelf Life: Up to 2 years if stored properly (refrigeration is recommended).

Reported Properties, Uses and Applications: Little is documented about Vitex Hydrosol, but it is definitely considered a "woman's" hydrosol. It's often recommended in place of the stronger and more volatile Vitex Essential Oil for use with PMS and balancing the hormones.
