Lemongrass Hydrosol

Lemongrass Hydrosol smells much more like a diluted version of its corresponding essential oil than a number of other hydrosols. Lemongrass Hydrosol is fresh, bright and has a crisp lemon-like aroma.

Botanical Name: Cymbopogon citratus

Aromatic Strength: Medium-Strong

Shelf Life: Up to 2 years if stored properly (refrigeration is recommended).

Reported Properties, Uses and Applications: Little is documented about Lemongrass Hydrosol, but I look forward to exploring its applications more. Marge Clark of Nature's Gift suggests it as a toner for acne and oily skin and for use with oily scalp and hair.
