Essential Oils for Spirituality
Aromatic
herbs and oils, including essential oils, have been an integral
part of the spiritual practices of many religions and cultures throughout
history. Below are a list of some of the essential oils known for
their particular attributes suited for spiritual use.
This is not intended to be a complete
list. If a particular essential oil personally speaks out to you,
by all means, consider incorporating it within your own spiritual
practices after you have learned about the oil and understand any
warnings or contraindications associated with the oil. For instance,
once in awhile, I feel called to use Manuka
while meditating yet it isn't an oil generally known for its spiritual
applications.
